My pal Alice just bought a house in Cambridge, MA, so Tracey and I went for a visit. While there, we did some fun indoor garden projects: made globe terrariums and an herb garden out of re-purposed light sconces. The sconces originally covered Alice’s dining room table light (pictured), but we liked the exposed bulbs better so took them off. The sconces are ceramic, so we used them as pots for herbs, and attached them to her kitchen wall with L brackets. Now she’ll have fresh herbs year-round, without ever going outside!
